The Emergency First Aid at Work course is the most common workplace first aid course in the country, which covers all of the major life threatening scenarios. Low risk industries should enrol where you are responsible for less than 100 people or when individuals require basic first aid training (Level 2) and want to develop lifesaving skills that can be used in and around workplaces.

The training, split over two days, will focus on the core set of emergency lifesaving skills that can be applied across many environments, including the workplace. Under normal circumstances, the programme is an intensive, practical day with theoretical learning. However, due to COVID, we have adjusted our delivery to enable the continued supply of high quality training. You will receive a training pack via post which will include course outlines, first aid manuals and basic resources, such as practices bandages and pocket masks, that will be used to accompany the theoretical training via Zoom. After part-completing the course, you will be invited to undertake the practical elements such as resuscitation (CPR) when safe to do so.
The Emergency First Aid at Work course will provide you with the confidence to deal with accidents or sudden illness int he workplace, in public or at home ensuring you understand how to take action at a scene, what information to give to emergency services and how to report an accident. With a larger proportion of people now staying at home or likely to be working remotely, these skills, although basic, could be
life saving

Upon completion, you will be provided with a certificate that meet the requirements outlined by the Health and Safety Executive (HSE), supported by the Federation of First Aid Training Organisations (FOFATO) and accredited by the First Aid Industry Body (FAIB).

The excellent training recently delivered by Medical Lifesigns has enhanced the capability of our workforce beyond all expectation. The positive effect on the safety culture of our workforce is tangible and it has helped to establish a solid base on which we can build. The pace and level of training was just right and accounted for the varied experience and knowledge of multinational students with first rate results. I cannot recommend the Medical lifesigns and their highly professional staff strongly enough.
