The Paediatric Emergency First Aid at Work course equips you with the necessary skills to care for, and potentially save the life of an ill, injured or sick child until the emergency services arrive, should the need arise. The course focuses on the management of situations involving children and how to confidently deal with any emergencies in a range of settings. With families now spending more time at home with children and the increased pressures on nurseries and schools, this 12 hour course covers the simple,
effective
and
essential
skills for parents and anyone working with children such as childminders, nursery staff and teachers. This course is also recommended by Ofsted.
The training, split over two days, will focus on the core set of emergency lifesaving skills that can be applied across many environments, with theoretical elements and guided practicals with our expert instructor.
Upon completion, you will be provided with a certificate that meet the requirements outlined by the Health and Safety Executive (HSE), supported by the Federation of First Aid Training Organisations (FOFATO) and accredited by the First Aid Industry Body (FAIB).
