FROM PRE-PLANNING TO FAST-PACED HIGH-RISK SCENARIOS

Throughout the hour-long session, three thematic topics will be covered; Pre-Expedition Training, Standard Operating Procedures, and When Things Go Wrong.

We've kept things broad for a reason - so that submitted questions and live queries can guide the session. Ian will discuss relevant elements under each theme with recommendations and key tips that Ian has built over the years. Of course, each expedition, each scenario and each experience is different, but through topical discussion, Ian will make you think about your own planning, training and operating procedures. Using real-world experiences, Ian will also provide context to actions taken when things didn't go to plan such as rapidly changing weather and medical emergencies in the wilderness!
